I broke down and bought a new camera this week. Chuck is happy because now he doesn't have to listen to me complain about our old one any more.
There are so many big events coming up -- Cathy's graduation, seeing Leili for the first time, our Disney cruise -- that I decided it was time to spring for a new one.
Here's a shot of our weeping cherry tree. It's a gorgeous day. Yay for good weather, finally.

It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5 10 megapixel. It's nice and small, has a lithium battery pack instead of AA's, and lots of idiot-proof features I liked: focusing, anti-jitter, light sensing, etc. It also has zoom and wide angle and can take motion shots. :-)
