Follow-up to Yesterday's Post -- The Day After the Beautiful Sunrise

We decided to leave Wiser Times a few days early and come back home.  Turns out, it was a GOOD decision.   As of yesterday morning, the prediction for Grosse Pointe was about 3 inches plus a thick coating of ice on top of that. 

Fortunately, the ice did not materialize but we certainly got a LOT more than 3 inches of snow.  If you look closely at the ruler, it shows 11.5 inches !!  This is more than we got a few weeks ago.  At that time, the media hyped it much more in the days leading up to it.  Go figure.

Even my poor bird feeder was full of snow.
