Thursday the 19th
We had a slow start this morning as a rain storm threatened. That caused the guys to have to pause and cover everything up right after they brought all their equipment into the yard for the day. But, fortunately, it blew north of us and we only got a few sprinkles. So, now at 10: 30 this morning, they're back at it.
Right now, they are putting the tar paper on the roof.
After that they put on a drip edging.
Now, after lunch, they are working on the shingles
By day's end, all the shingles were on. Tomorrow, he said he will put all the caps over the edge seams and then the roof will be completed.
More cedar trim goes along the bottom edge and then it will be ready to be stained all over.
