On Thursday, we went shopping on Front St. in Lahaina.
We had lunch at another open air restaurant right on the ocean. Here is the view from our table.
By the way, the whole time we were on Maui it was HOT (about 85) and humid. Very few places have air conditioning, including this restaurant. Our condo also had no A/C. But as soon as the sun sets, it gets a lot cooler so, fortunately, we were always very comfortable in the evening and when sleeping.
After lunch, we headed out in our (air conditioned) car to Haleakala National Park. More about that in the next post.

The bottom left photo of Front Street, at the extreme left of the picture is a building with an open second floor, and flags on it. THAT used to be Cheeseburger in Paradise. Presumably it's still a restaurant.
The breezes on Maui are not nearly what they are on Oahu, so it was warm and sticky when we were there, too. But our room had AC.
